If you follow me on Facebook at all, you probably know that I am HUGE into using FB Live. Some days I actually go live 3 or 4 times in a day. I use it to do live Q&As. live software reviews, live podcast recordings, live interviews, and much more.
And you may also know that I like to push the limits of FB Live by streaming to multiple pages and groups at the
same time, and using webcams, graphics, animations and more in my Facebook Live videos.
Well, the other day I saw something on FB Live that blew my mind. Someone had a live video running that simply asked if you were going to vote Trump or Clinton, and it asked you to press Like for Trump, or Heart for Clinton. But here's the cool part...
When people would hit like or heart, the vote tally on the screen would go up, in real time! At first, I thought it was a trick, and they were just playing back a video, but I later found out that it was real. There was a very expensive software that allowed you to do that.
Well, fast-forward to this week,
and my friend Martin Crumlish was able to figure out how to do this, and he isn't going to charge you $5000 for it :)
He created a new tool, called Vote Stream. This software allows your to create these FB Live video questions, with up to 6 answers (thats the number of like icons in FB). The software is easy to use, and it WORKS!
I have already run a few campaigns, and people voted commented and shared like crazy... and that was in a 10 minute period. Now, imagine doing what they did with the Trump/Clinton video, and let it run for HOURS. The engagement, views and potential would be HUGE!
So, if you are serious about FB Live, and
serious about getting an audience, then I suggest that you get this right away, as it is an awesome tool that very few people have access to.... yet!
