Last
week, Jeanne Kolenda and Jim Mack came out with a new product called Plumber Marketing Confidential. And I was immediately blown away by what they have put together.
Is it. because they are dealing with plumbers? No. I love working with plumbers, but this is MUCH bigger than that. It is because they are working with a new Google product that practically sells itself!
I have claimed that Google My Business sells itself... and this might be even better.
Essentially, you set up a business tip be verified by Google, Google then sends people to your client, and the client pays a fee for each call that they get.
So, here's an example. You set them up a local plumber and get them verified by Google. The client gets 10 calls from the program, and 7 of those calls turn into a job. The average job is $500. The client makes $3500 in new business, and Google charges $30 per call, for a total of $300. You charge $300 per month to manage this, and the client makes a profit of $2900.
How many clients would pay $600 to make $3500, and profit $2900? Hopefully ALL OF THEM :)
But now imagine they get 30 calls, and the average call is $800. You would now profit them over $15,000 in new business!
And the best part about this is that it does not require a ton of work on your part, The set-up is pretty easy, as is the Google business verification. After that, it's just a bit of management. This means that this is EASILY scalable to many clients.
On top of this, it relies very strongly on reputation and reviews, so if there are issues with low Google ratings, you can offer reputation management as a natural service to this. And of course, you can then offer all of your other services, for even more benefit to them.... and fees to you!
