Social Media has become our number 2 offering to our local clients, and it is fast gaining on our local video product. Why?
Because it is effective, businesses put value in it, and it's inexpensive. You could help a business immensely for prices that range from $200-500 per month, which is pretty cheap for businesses, especially when they know they NEED to have a strong presence.
$200-500 may not seem like much to you, but this is EXTREMELY scalable, meaning that you could have 30 customers (that's 1 per day) and be making up to $15,000 per month. I have a friend that has 100 social media clients... and can still keep up!
Why? Because when you have a system in place that creates, curates, designs and distributes content... you only need a few minutes per client... a couple to check that their content is still going, and a couple to cash their checks :). (That's a joke... but it's pretty close to reality).
