It amazes me, how many people producing videos for clients, video blogs and even sales videos for million dollar products, don't use a decent microphone! You can get a great one for $20!
Heck, these are so cheap that I actually give them to clients, so they can shoot their videos with decent sound.
Believe it or not, the #1 reason people switch away from a video is poor sound quality. Numerous studies have shown, people will watch a badly shot video, if the audio quality is good, but people will leave even a great video, if the sound is bad.
