How many leads do you need to contact, in order to get a new client?
That is a question I hear all the time, and while I don't have a precise, scientific answer, I can tell you that, unless it's a referral, it is quite a few. For a recent dental campaign I started running, I sent probably 2 thousand cold emails to dentists in a number of areas.
That resulted in 4 new clients, and one that I am trying to close. 2 THOUSAND emails! That is a ton of emails.
However, the results are probably about $70,000 in new business for the year.
But the question is, how much time does that take?
When using a lead capture system, like LeadFlow360, or others, it might take 5-10 minutes per day, for 10 days or so... or about an hour of work.
If you had to manually search Facebook or Google for businesses, copy down their information, put it into a database, and then manually set up emails for each potential customer, it would take entire days worth of work. But remember, not every campaign will be successful, so you could spend all that time for little, to no return.
So, which makes more sense for getting new clients? Spending DAYS manually getting leads, or getting 2,000 leads, and mailing them in 5-10 minutes per day?
