As I mentioned this morning, I switched from QuickBooks to Freshbooks recently. And I made the switch
for one MAJOR reason... I can create RECURRING charges for my clients. In other words, I can send them a bill for RepVideos, and every month, they are auto-charged. No more sending a monthly bill and hoping they pay!
In addition, with their built-in system, you actually get money into your bank account faster!
But the one thing that sold me, that I didn't know about before I tried Freshbooks is the estimates and proposals. Sending a proposal and having them sign off on a project, in writing, is AWESOME and it is super-easy!
Just look at what Fresgbooks does!
- It does the recurring billing that I desperately wanted!
- It creates nice invoices that can automatically be sent out (QB did this one as well)
- It creates proposals and/or estimates for you and manages them! THIS IS AWESOME! You can send a proposal or an estimate, and the client can except it... this is WAY cool!
- You can track all expenses
- You can manage projects
- You can track people's time
- It's less expensive
- YOU CAN TRY IT FREEEEEE... you don't even need to have a credit card for the trial!!
What I really like about this is that rather than being an accounting software, it's more like a business management tool that does accounting.
