As I have mentioned a number of times, I shoot most of my videos these days with my smartphone... in my case,
an iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Despite smartphones being small, most do an AMAZING job. In fact they do better than pro cameras could do a decade ago.
But using a smartphone to shoot your videos does add some challenges. First, despite most having image stabilization, shooting handheld can be tough, and unlike a video camera, you can't just put them on a tripod.
Another issue is that audio from the built-in microphone is not great, and is really bad is the subject is more than a foot away.
Fortunately, there are some GREAT ways to get great audio and to mount your phone to any tripod.
Right now, our friends at Movo have a special on a package that includes the amazing PR1 tripod mount, and the incredible VXR10 mini-shotgun microphone. This will give you the ability to capture great audio and stable video on the go, or in the studio (office).
