Don't Let YouTube Do This To You (or your clients)

YouTube and the government are out to get you, and it's just plain wrong. Earlier this year, YouTube began to age restrict videos, and the government over-reached to force them to do it, based on old law about Childrens privacy.

Well now, they plan to force this onto YOUR site, when you embed a YouTube video!

They are going to start forcing people to be logged into YouTube, to see videos you embed on your site. This means that people will need to leave your site to log into YouTube or create an account just too watch your video! IT'S INSANE, and it is going to KILL your conversions,'

This is getting crazy. And this is something you NEED to be aware of.

The solution, however, is pretty easy. You need to use your own hosted videos, instead of the YouTube player. This will make sure you do noted to worry about the issue above, you won't have to deal with all the clickable items that take people back to YouTube... and you won't have to worry about YouTube banning your videos!
